Water (H2O) in outer space: Enceladus, Saturn's moon, looks a whole host Ocean

SCIENTIFIC DISCOVERY: "WATER IN THE COSMOS"

Saturn, the planet the magnificent rings, and has recently lost its status as the only star crowned Planetary System, has always exercised a mysterious fascination in astronomy half.

One of the most fascinating moons , the satellite Enceladus , now suggests that water may contain , and just below the south pole. See in the picture below, a size comparison of Enceladus and British Isles.

The conclusion indicated the possible existence of liquid in the cold star component, is deduced from measurements taken with the Cassini , an issue that was thoroughly explained and documented in the prestigious British journal Nature .

analyzing the material removal rates and different elements that emerge from a geyser , An enigmatic Enceladus area (also called Enceladus ) known to scientists with the suggestive name of "tiger stripes , the famous probe suggests to astronomers that some of these elements come water.

This conclusion was a team that had active involvement in the affair, led by Jürgen Schmidt , the famous German University of Potsdam ( Institute for Physics and Astronomy , Potsdam University ).

Enceladus has thus become the fourth body in the Solar System that have been able to reliably check for rashes, along with Io, the satellite of Jupiter rich in sulfur, Triton, the largest satellite giant planet Neptune , and Earth the blue planet we inhabit.

The geysers, as a primary study could be explained by the powerful effects of tides , which is subject this strange frozen world, which goes as close to "Lord of the Rings."

However, for the ice layer covering the satellite to move, it is absolutely necessary, as most widespread scientific opinion, there is a ocean below.

The results of recent studies therefore imply that there is liquid water on the moon Enceladus.

Given the importance attached to liquid water, the possible use of it for future space travel, and also for his role in the development of some form of life, we will expand the topic future deliveries to the satisfaction of avid readers.
